Grassroots has been producing hammered dulcimers of exceptional quality and fine detail since 1976. 	Standard Materials All Grassroots instruments are made from quality materials as follows: Hard maple pin blocks Hard maple interior supports and rails Spruce soundboards (mahogany or red oak plywood is available as a lower cost alternative) Hard maple bridges capped with black delrin Nickel-plated zither pins and hitch pins High quality plywood backs Sound boards can be died black on any instrument as an option	Return to Return to Return to
